How to measure:
Your Bust: With Arms relaxed to your sides, measure the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape parallel to the ground.
Your Sleeve: With your arm bent 90 degrees, place your hand on your hip. Begin at the center of the back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to your elbow down to the wrist.
Pants and Denims:
How to measure:
Your Waist: Measure around your waist at the narrowest part of your torso. Keep tape parallel to the floor and one finger between the tape and your body.
Your Hips: Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape parallel to the ground.
Your Inseams: Measure pants that fit you well, from the crotch to the hem.
Dresses:
How to measure:
Your Bust: With Arms relaxed to your sides, measure the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape parallel to the ground.
Your Waist: Measure around your waist at your navel. Keep tape parallel to the floor and one finger between the tape and your body.
Men’s fit Guide
Pants and Jeans
How to Measure:
Waist: Measure around your waist where your pants usually fall. Keep one finger between the tape and your body to ensure an accurate fit.
Inseam: Using a pair of pants that fit you well (of a similar material to those you are buying), measure along the inside of the pant leg from the crotch to the bottom opening. The number of inches is the inseam length, rounded to the nearest 1/2".
Shirts and Sweaters
How to measure:
If possible, get a friend to help
Chest: Raise your arms slightly and measure around your body. Be sure to measure across your shoulder blades and the fullest part of your chest.
Neck: For casual shirts, find a collared shirt that fits your neck well. Lay the collar flat on a table and measure the "top" edge of the collar. For dress shirts, measure around the base of your own neck, keeping one finger between your neck and the tape measure.
Sleeve: Place your hand on your hip with your arm bent at 90 degrees. Measure from the middle of the back of your neck, across the shoulder, and down your arm to the wrist.
Blazers
If possible, get a friend to help.
Chest: Raise your arms slightly and measure around your body. Be sure to measure across your shoulder blades and the fullest part of your chest. For short size blazers, the body length is 1" shorter than regular sizes. Long sizes fall 1" longer than regular sizes.
Sleeve: Place your hand on your hip with your arm bent at 90 degrees. Measure from the middle of the back of your neck, across the shoulder, and down your arm to the wrist. For short size blazers, the sleeve length is 1" shorter than regular sizes. Long sizes are 1" longer than regular sizes.
For outwear
Chest: Raise your arms slightly and measure around your body. Be sure to measure across your shoulder blades and the fullest part of your chest.
